Apprise OÜ in collaboration with Invent Baltics OÜ consultants successfully applied for funding from international EUROSTARS program!
Estonian company Apprise OÜ, which was established in 2000 and provides software development solutions to commercial enterprises, successfully applied for 6th application round of EUROSTAR’s program „Advanced wave forecast for safe navigation of small vessels“. In addition to Apprise OÜ, the international consortium consists of Marine Systems Institute of Tallinn University of Technology and two companies from Finland – Luode Consulting OY and Foreca Ltd.
The project focuses on developing navigation system for small vessels (less than 12m in length). System integrates existing wave field models, satellite data and potential in-situ data (e.g. wave buoys). The output of the project will be a data-transmitting GRIB viewer application for Android and iOS.
Duration of the project: 30 months
Project total budget: 1.2 M EUR.
