EAS supports Icosagen Cell Factory’s applied research project for developing a new type of technological platform for cell-based assays

The applied research project received a grant of 16,1 million Estonian kroons (approx 1,1 million Euros). The project was prepared with the assistance of Invent Baltics OÜ.

Icosagen Cell Factory OÜ was founded in 2005. The company develops applications based on its proprietory QMFC technology, out-licenses it as well as provides services to international pharmaceutical companies. QMCF technology is licensed to several global pharmaceutical corporations such as Bayer HealthCare, Wyeth Pharmaceutical and more. The technology is protected by an European patent and several international patent applications.
